Vidjoy: the films, series and K-dramas of the streaming era, from Severance and Andor to When Life Gives You Tangerines
Vidjoy arrived in late 2024 as a sleek, dark streaming app. Its home page opened on a full-width backdrop under a simple centred menu of Home, Movies, Tv Series and My List, with a round search button and an APP link in the corner, and below it came rows of rounded posters and a set of tall genre tiles for animation, drama, fantasy, romance and sci-fi. On a phone, a tab bar at the bottom of the screen made it feel like a native app. Vidjoy keeps that modern design and turns it into a guide to the streaming era: the films, English-language series and Korean dramas people have talked about since 2019, each with a Watch now button that opens it on the official services in your country.
The Vidjoy design
This Vidjoy is rebuilt from two archived captures of vidjoy.pro, from December 2024 and February 2025. The page structure comes from the first, and the colours and fonts from the compiled style sheet of the second. It uses the neutral dark palette of the shadcn interface kit: an almost-black background, charcoal cards and borders, near-white text and soft grey secondary text. Two typefaces set the tone: Poppins for everything you read, and the tall, condensed Bebas Neue for the logo, the featured title and the row headings. The only strong colour is the blue gradient of the logo's V, running from a deep royal blue at the bottom to a bright sky blue at the top.
The effect is calm and cinematic. Posters and backdrops supply the colour, and the interface stays out of the way.
The top bar
The top bar floats over the page with a soft dark blur. On the left sits the VIDJOY logo, the V in blue gradient and the rest in white, all in Bebas Neue. In the centre, the menu reads Home, Movies, TV Series, K-Drama, Genres, A-Z and My List, in soft grey that turns white when you point at it. On the right, a round charcoal button opens search, and an APP link with a download arrow explains how to pin Vidjoy to your phone's home screen. The bar stays at the top as you scroll, so every section is one click away.
The featured backdrop
The home page opens on a full-width backdrop of a featured title, fading into the dark page below and to the left. Over it, the title stands in tall Bebas Neue letters, followed by chips for its year, genres and score, a short story, and two buttons: a white Watch now button and a charcoal More info button. The featured title today is Project Hail Mary, and the rotation includes Severance, When Life Gives You Tangerines, Dune: Part Two, The Pitt and KPop Demon Hunters.
The rows
Below the backdrop, rows of posters work like the shelves of a streaming service. Trending movies, Popular series, K-Drama, New releases and Top rated each show fourteen titles in a single line that scrolls sideways, with a gentle snap as each poster comes into place. The posters have the rounded corners of the original, with the title, year and score beneath, and each grows slightly when you point at it. Each row has a See all link to its full collection with filters.
The genre tiles
Between the rows, a set of tall genre tiles recreates one of the most striking parts of the 2024 page. Each tile shows a backdrop from the most popular title in its genre behind a dark veil, with the genre name in large Bebas Neue letters in the centre: Animation, Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Action and Comedy. Point at a tile and the veil lifts while the image grows and the title shrinks slightly, exactly the playful effect of the original. On a tablet the tiles sit three to a row, and on a phone two.
The bottom tab bar
On a phone, Vidjoy adds a fixed tab bar at the bottom of the screen, as the 2024 app did: Home, Movies, Series and My List, each with a small icon and a label. It keeps the main sections within thumb's reach while you scroll, and the three-line button in the top bar opens the full menu and the search field.
A title page
Every poster opens a title page with the poster, the title, the year, the running time, the genres and the story. A white Watch now button and a charcoal Add to My List button follow, and the viewing panel lets you choose your country before opening JustWatch. The facts grid lists the release date, language, country and studio, and the cast follows. A series page also lists every season, and each season page lists every episode with its air date and summary, with a mark button to remember your place.
Movies: the big screen
The Movies list holds seventy-three films from 2019 onward, the most-watched releases of the streaming era. The biggest spectacles include Avatar: The Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash, Dune and Dune: Part Two, Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Jurassic World Rebirth and F1. 2026 has added Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Project Hail Mary, and horror fans have Weapons, Sinners, 28 Years Later, Backrooms and Lee Cronin's The Mummy.
Movies: superheroes
The superhero films run from Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019 through Black Widow, The Suicide Squad, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, The Batman and Black Adam to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic 4: First Steps and Superman. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse remains one of the most inventive of them all. The superheroes guide covers the series too.
Movies: family
Family films are some of the most-watched on the list. KPop Demon Hunters became a worldwide phenomenon with its animated girl group who fight demons with music, The Wild Robot follows a robot who raises a gosling, and Zootopia 2, Moana 2, Inside Out 2, Despicable Me 4, Mufasa: The Lion King and Toy Story 4 continue beloved stories. Game fans have The Super Mario Bros. Movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and A Minecraft Movie, and How to Train Your Dragon returns in live action. The movies guide has more ideas.
Series of the streaming era
The Series collection holds sixty-six English-language shows that began in 2019 or later, and it reads like a history of the streaming boom. Every series has its seasons and episodes listed, with air dates and summaries. The series guide sorts them by mood, from mind-bending mysteries to comfort viewing.
Series: mysteries and mind-benders
Some of the most talked-about series of recent years are puzzles. Severance follows office workers whose memories are surgically split between work and home, and its eerie corporate world became a phenomenon. Silo imagines the last humans living in a vast underground tower, FROM traps its characters in a town surrounded by dark woods, and Dark Matter follows a physicist abducted into another version of his own life. Pluribus, from the creator of Breaking Bad, imagines a world transformed by a strange happiness, and Paradise opens with the death of a president in a secret, seemingly perfect community. Widow's Bay and Evil add a supernatural chill.
Series: Star Wars and Star Trek
Star Wars found a new home in television. The Mandalorian follows a lone bounty hunter and his tiny green companion, Andor tells the gripping story of how a thief became a rebel, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows a squad of unusual clone troopers. Star Trek boldly continues with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, a return to classic episodic adventures, Star Trek: Picard, with Patrick Stewart back as the captain, and the animated comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks. Foundation adapts Isaac Asimov's galaxy-spanning saga, and See imagines a future in which humanity has lost its sight.
Series: heroes
Superhero series are among the most popular on the list. Loki follows the god of mischief through time, What If...? imagines alternative versions of the Marvel story in animation, and X-Men '97 continues the classic cartoon with thrilling results. Daredevil: Born Again returns the blind lawyer to Hell's Kitchen, Superman & Lois balances the Man of Steel's heroics with family life, and The Umbrella Academy and Doom Patrol follow two very odd families of heroes. Lanterns brings the Green Lantern Corps to television in 2026.
Series: drama and crime
For drama, The Pitt follows a single shift in a Pittsburgh emergency department, hour by hour, Chernobyl reconstructs the 1986 nuclear disaster in five devastating episodes, and The Chosen retells the Gospels through the eyes of those who met Jesus. Slow Horses follows a department of disgraced British spies, The Day of the Jackal reinvents the classic assassin thriller, The Night Agent follows a young FBI agent pulled into a conspiracy, and Reacher, Lioness, The Terminal List and Tracker bring action heroes to the small screen. The Lincoln Lawyer works cases from the back seat of a car, and High Potential and Marshals add fresh investigators.
Series: comedy and comfort
For lighter evenings, Ted Lasso sends an American football coach to manage an English club, Only Murders in the Building turns three neighbours into true-crime podcasters, Abbott Elementary follows teachers at an underfunded Philadelphia school, and Ghosts shares a country house between a young couple and a household of spirits. Wednesday sends the Addams family's daughter to boarding school, Resident Alien strands an extraterrestrial in a small Colorado town, and The Summer I Turned Pretty and Outer Banks are favourites with teenage viewers.
K-Drama on Vidjoy
Korean dramas are one of the great streaming stories of recent years, and Vidjoy gives them their own menu. The K-Drama collection holds thirty-four series from 2019 onward, from sweeping romances to supernatural thrillers, each with every episode listed. Most K-dramas run for a single season of twelve to twenty episodes and tell a complete story, which makes them perfect for a week or two of evenings. They stream in Korean with subtitles in many languages, and some have dubs. The K-Drama guide suggests where to start.
K-Drama: romance
Romance is where many viewers begin. Crash Landing on You follows a South Korean heiress who paraglides by accident into North Korea and falls for the army officer who hides her, one of the most loved dramas of its decade. Queen of Tears follows a married couple rediscovering their love as a crisis tests them, Business Proposal turns a blind date with a CEO into a comedy of disguises, and King the Land sets a romance in a luxury hotel. Love Next Door reunites childhood friends, My Demon pairs an heiress with a demon who has lost his powers, True Beauty follows a teenager who hides behind her make-up skills, and Twinkling Watermelon sends a teenager back to 1995, where he meets his father as a student.
K-Drama: heart and family
Some of the finest K-dramas are about everyday life. When Life Gives You Tangerines follows a couple from Jeju Island across decades, with a warmth that moved audiences around the world. Hospital Playlist follows five doctors who have been friends since medical school and still play in a band together, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo follows a brilliant young lawyer on the autism spectrum through her first cases.
K-Drama: action, fantasy and thrills
For thrills, Moving follows teenagers who inherit superpowers from their parents, and its mix of family drama and action won wide acclaim. Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy epic about mages who can swap souls, Tale of the Nine Tailed follows a nine-tailed fox in modern Seoul, and The Uncanny Counter follows demon hunters who work from a noodle shop. Vincenzo brings an Italian-Korean lawyer back to Seoul for a stylish revenge comedy, Taxi Driver follows a secret revenge service, and Bloodhounds, Weak Hero and A Shop for Killers deliver hard-hitting action. Kingdom mixes a Joseon-era political thriller with a zombie outbreak, Mouse and The Manipulated are tense crime stories, and D.P. follows soldiers who track down army deserters.
K-Drama: the newest
The newest K-dramas arrive quickly on the major services. Teach You a Lesson, Perfect Crown, The WONDERfools, Agent Kim Reactivated and If Wishes Could Kill all premiered in 2026, and Study Group, Genie, Make a Wish and The Manipulated in 2025. Marry My Husband follows a woman who gets a second chance at life ten years in the past, and Snowdrop sets a romance against the political tension of 1987 Seoul.
Animation for all ages
Animation is one of the richest genres on Vidjoy. On the film side, KPop Demon Hunters, The Wild Robot, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Inside Out 2 and Zootopia 2 lead the way. On the series side, X-Men '97, What If...? and Star Wars: The Bad Batch bring big franchises to animation, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake and Amphibia offer imaginative adventures, and Animaniacs brings back the classic zany comedy. Star Trek: Lower Decks is a comedy about the junior crew of a starship. The Animation tile on the home page opens the full collection.
How Watch now works
Watch now is the bridge between Vidjoy and the services that hold each title. Open a title page, choose your country in the viewing panel, from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia to India, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Germany and South Africa, and press the white Watch now button. Vidjoy opens the title on JustWatch, an independent guide that lists every official service offering it in that country, by subscription, rental, purchase or free with adverts. Choose one, and the title opens in that service's app or website. Vidjoy remembers your country for next time, and the how to watch guide walks through the steps.
Where the titles stream
The streaming era is a story of many services, and the country selector matters more than ever. Apple TV carries Severance, Slow Horses, Ted Lasso, Silo, Foundation, For All Mankind and Pluribus. Disney+ holds Andor, The Mandalorian, Loki, X-Men '97 and the Marvel and Pixar films. Netflix has Wednesday, The Night Agent, The Lincoln Lawyer, Outer Banks, The Umbrella Academy and many K-dramas, from Crash Landing on You to When Life Gives You Tangerines. Prime Video has Reacher, The Terminal List and The Wheel of Time, and Max has The Pitt, Chernobyl and Lanterns. K-dramas also stream on Viki and Disney+ in many countries. The services page gives an overview.
Phones, TVs and consoles
Vidjoy works in every browser, and the APP link in the top bar explains how to add it to your phone's home screen, where it opens full-screen with the bottom tab bar, just like an app. Films and series play in the official apps of each service, installed from Google Play, the App Store or your television's store. Fire TV, Google TV, Apple TV, Roku, PlayStation, Xbox and nearly every smart TV run those apps, and Chromecast or AirPlay send the picture from your phone to the TV. The apps and devices page covers each option.
HD, 4K and your connection
Almost everything from the streaming era is available in HD, and many titles in 4K with HDR and Dolby Atmos on premium plans, from Andor and Severance to Dune: Part Two and Avatar: Fire and Ash. Plan on about 5 Mbps for smooth HD and 15 to 25 Mbps for 4K. On mobile data, a lighter quality setting keeps playback smooth, and most services let you download episodes over Wi-Fi before a journey.
Subtitles and dubs
K-dramas stream in Korean with subtitles in many languages, and a growing number have English, Spanish or Portuguese dubs. English-language films and series offer the original track and several dubbed languages. The language menu in the player switches audio and subtitles at any moment, and most apps let you resize subtitles and add a background. The audio, subtitles and quality guide has the settings for each device.
Free, legal options
Some of the catalogue can be watched free and legally. Tubi, Pluto TV and the Roku Channel stream films and series with adverts in many countries, and some K-dramas are available free with adverts on official services in selected countries. On each title page, the Watch now panel lists free options beside the paid ones for your country. The free movies and series page lists the main services.
My List
My List is the Vidjoy watchlist, one tap away in the top menu and in the bottom tab bar on phones. Press Add to My List on any title page and it is saved in this browser, visible to you alone. On a season page, mark the episode you reached, and My List keeps your place in every series and K-drama you follow. Export writes your list to a small file, and Import restores it on another device. The My List page explains each button.
Finding a title
The round search button in the top bar opens the full search page, which matches titles, cast and creators as you type and filters by type, genre, year, language and score. The rows and genre tiles on the home page lead to every collection, the Genres link opens the full list, and the A-Z index lists every title by its first letter. The finding a title guide brings these routes together.
Top rated
The Top rated collection gathers titles scored 8 or more out of 10 by at least eight hundred viewers. Among the series are Chernobyl, The Chosen, Severance, Andor, Silo, FROM, Wednesday, Loki and The Umbrella Academy, and among the K-dramas Crash Landing on You, Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Vincenzo. Films include Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Wild Robot, Oppenheimer, Dune: Part Two and Top Gun: Maverick. Open Top rated for the full list.
New releases
New releases follows the films and series from 2025 onward. Recent arrivals include Project Hail Mary, The Odyssey, Superman, Sinners, KPop Demon Hunters and Zootopia 2 among the films, The Pitt, Pluribus, Paradise, Lanterns and Daredevil: Born Again among the series, and When Life Gives You Tangerines and Perfect Crown among the K-dramas. The New releases page shows everything that arrived recently.
Choosing what to watch
With so much to choose from, a few questions help. How much time do you have? A film fills an evening, a limited series like Chernobyl a weekend, and a K-drama a week or two of evenings. What mood are you in? The genre tiles sort the catalogue by feeling, from Comedy to Sci-Fi. And how did audiences react? The score on each poster, with the number of ratings behind it on the title page, shows how widely a title was enjoyed.
Ideas for an evening
For a mystery night, start Severance or Dark Matter. For a space evening, watch Project Hail Mary or an episode of Andor. For a romantic night in, begin Crash Landing on You or Business Proposal. For the family, KPop Demon Hunters or The Wild Robot. For a scare, Weapons or an episode of Kingdom, and for something to talk about afterwards, Sinners or One Battle After Another.
Planning a binge
Streaming-era series are made for bingeing, and the season counts on each page help plan. Chernobyl is five episodes, a single weekend. Severance, Andor and Slow Horses run to a handful of seasons of tight episodes. K-dramas usually tell a complete story in one season of twelve to sixteen episodes, and procedurals like Tracker or FBI: Most Wanted can be dipped into at any point. Mark each episode as you go, and My List keeps your place.
Recognising Vidjoy
Vidjoy is easy to recognise: a near-black page, the VIDJOY logo with its blue gradient V in tall condensed letters, a centred menu with a round search button and an APP link, a full-width featured backdrop with white and charcoal buttons, rows of rounded posters, and tall genre tiles with big titles over veiled images. On a phone, a tab bar sits at the bottom of the screen. Bookmark the home page and add it to your home screen. The official site page describes these details, and the site status page helps when a page is slow to load.
Safe streaming
A few habits keep streaming safe. Install apps only from Google Play, the App Store or your TV's own store, keep your devices updated, and give each service its own strong password with two-step sign-in switched on. Before you pay or sign in, check that the address bar shows the service's real name. Vidjoy sends you to JustWatch, and JustWatch sends you to the official services, so each step stays on trusted ground. The streaming safely page has a short checklist.
Privacy
Vidjoy keeps your data in your own browser. My List, your episode marks and your chosen country stay on your device, ready to clear at any time or move with Export and Import. Posters, stories, cast and episode details come from TMDB, and the viewing options come from JustWatch.
How the catalogue is chosen
The catalogue follows the menus of the 2024 app, Movies and Tv Series, with Korean dramas added as a third pillar. The films are the most-watched English-language releases since 2019, the series are English-language shows that began in 2019 or later, and the K-dramas are the most popular Korean series of the same years, all chosen from TMDB and checked by hand. Every title has a poster, a story, a cast list and a score, and every series has its seasons and episodes. The catalogue focuses on films and scripted series for a general audience, and leaves reality shows, talk shows and explicit titles to other places.
A short history of Vidjoy
Vidjoy appeared at vidjoy.pro in 2024 as a modern streaming web app built with Next.js, with a dark interface, a blue gradient logo, rows of posters, tall genre tiles and a bottom tab bar on phones. Its archived home pages from December 2024 and February 2025 show the design this site keeps. Vidjoy today keeps that look and sends every title to the official services, in HD, with subtitles or dubs, on every screen.
A first visit
On a first visit, look at the featured title at the top and press More info to read about it. Then scroll the rows, swiping sideways through Trending movies, Popular series and K-Drama, and try a genre tile. Open a title that catches your eye, choose your country and press Watch now to see where it streams. Add a few titles to My List, and pin Vidjoy to your home screen with the APP link.
Genres on Vidjoy
Beyond the six tiles on the home page, the Genres link opens every collection: K-Drama and Series, New releases and Top rated, Action, Animation, Drama, Fantasy, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Crime and mystery, Family, Superheroes and Horror and thriller. Each page has filters for year, genre, language and score, and can be sorted by popularity, rating or date. The genres guide explains how the tiles and collections fit together.
Science fiction
Science fiction is one of the strongest threads on Vidjoy. On film, Dune and Dune: Part Two bring Frank Herbert's desert planet to life, Project Hail Mary sends a science teacher alone into deep space to save the Sun, and Avatar: Fire and Ash returns to Pandora. Everything Everywhere All at Once spins a family drama across countless universes, and Predator: Badlands and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes revive two classic sagas. On television, Severance, Silo, Dark Matter, Foundation, Snowpiercer and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters explore very different futures, and Resident Alien brings a lighter touch.
Fantasy
Fantasy fans can travel to many worlds. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returns to Middle-earth's Second Age, The Wheel of Time adapts Robert Jordan's epic, and ONE PIECE brings the famous pirate manga to live action with a joyful cast. Percy Jackson and the Olympians sends a young demigod on a quest across America, Avatar: The Last Airbender retells the story of the last Airbender, and The Sandman adapts Neil Gaiman's dreamlike comic. In K-drama, Alchemy of Souls, Tale of the Nine Tailed and My Demon mix fantasy with romance.
Action
Action runs through the film list. John Wick: Chapter 4 and its spin-off Ballerina stage elaborate fights, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning closes Ethan Hunt's long mission, F1 puts Brad Pitt on the Formula One grid, and Top Gun: Maverick puts Tom Cruise back in the cockpit. The Beekeeper and Wrath of Man give Jason Statham two revenge stories, The Equalizer 3 sends Denzel Washington to the Amalfi Coast, and Gladiator II returns to the arena of ancient Rome. On television, Reacher, The Terminal List, Lioness and The Night Agent keep the pace high.
Horror and thrillers
For suspense, Weapons opens with a whole class of children vanishing on the same night, Sinners mixes vampire horror with the blues of 1930s Mississippi, and 28 Years Later returns to a Britain changed by the rage virus. The Gorge sets two snipers on either side of a mysterious chasm, Fall strands two climbers on a narrow radio mast, and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City returns to the game's origins. On television, Evil investigates the supernatural with a sceptic and a priest, and Kingdom sets a zombie outbreak in Korea's Joseon era.
Crime and mystery
The Crime and mystery collection gathers investigations of every kind. Only Murders in the Building solves murders with humour, Knives Out offers a classic whodunit, and The Lincoln Lawyer and High Potential bring sharp minds to the courtroom and the police station. Slow Horses and The Day of the Jackal are superb spy thrillers, Law & Order: Organized Crime and FBI: Most Wanted follow elite police units, and Tracker follows a survivalist who finds missing people. In K-drama, Mouse, Taxi Driver and Vincenzo each put a twist on the genre.
Family viewing
For families, the Family collection and the Animation tile are the places to start. KPop Demon Hunters, Zootopia 2, Moana 2, Inside Out 2, The Wild Robot, How to Train Your Dragon and Frozen II suit every age, and Animaniacs, Amphibia and Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake offer series to share. Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Avatar: The Last Airbender are popular with older children, and Wednesday and The Summer I Turned Pretty are favourites with teenagers. Check the certificate on each streaming service before pressing play.
A week with Vidjoy
Here is one way to spend a week with Vidjoy. On Monday, start Severance. On Tuesday, watch The Wild Robot. On Wednesday, begin Crash Landing on You. On Thursday, try The Pitt. On Friday, invite friends for Dune: Part Two. On Saturday, catch up on Andor, and on Sunday, relax with the family and KPop Demon Hunters. Add each title to My List and mark the episodes as you go.
Reading the scores
Every poster shows a TMDB score out of ten, and every title page shows the number of ratings behind it. A high score with thousands of ratings, like Chernobyl or Loki, signals a title that pleases almost everyone. K-dramas and new releases often have fewer ratings, and their scores can run high because their audiences are passionate, so read the story too. Use the score as a friendly signpost and trust your own taste.
Watching together
Streaming is often shared. A weekly series like The Pitt gives friends something to discuss every few days, a K-drama like Queen of Tears or Business Proposal is perfect for a couple's week of evenings, and a film like KPop Demon Hunters brings the whole family to the sofa. Most streaming apps offer separate profiles, and My List can be exported from one device and imported on another so everyone knows what is next.
Sharing a title
Every Vidjoy page has a clean, stable address, so sharing is as simple as copying the link and sending it on. The link opens the same page, with its poster, story and Watch now button, and each person can choose their own country to see where the title streams for them.
Slower connections
Vidjoy is designed to be light: posters are compressed, the rows load as you reach them, and the featured backdrop appears first. On the streaming services, a lower quality setting keeps playback smooth on mobile data, and downloading episodes over Wi-Fi is a good idea before a journey. The quality guide explains the settings.
K-dramas for beginners
New to K-dramas? A few tips make the first one easier. Most run for a single season of twelve to sixteen episodes of about an hour, so a drama is like a long novel with a proper ending. Romances such as Crash Landing on You or Business Proposal are the classic entry point; for something warmer, Hospital Playlist or When Life Gives You Tangerines; for action, Moving or Vincenzo. Watching with subtitles lets you hear the actors' own voices, and many viewers soon find themselves picking up everyday Korean words and phrases.
True stories
Several titles look back at real events. Chernobyl reconstructs the nuclear disaster and the people who fought to contain it, Oppenheimer follows the physicist behind the atomic bomb, and Killers of the Flower Moon recounts the murders of Osage people in 1920s Oklahoma. Michael tells the story of Michael Jackson, F1 is set inside the real world of Formula One, and The Chosen retells the Gospels. In K-drama, Snowdrop sets a romance against the political tension of 1987, and D.P. draws on the real experience of military service in Korea.
Music on screen
Music runs through some of the most popular titles. KPop Demon Hunters follows a K-pop girl group who secretly fight demons, and its songs topped charts around the world. Michael celebrates one of the most famous entertainers in history, Sinners fills its juke joint with the blues, and Moana 2 and Zootopia 2 bring new songs to familiar characters. In K-drama, Hospital Playlist follows doctors who play in a band together, and Twinkling Watermelon centres on a teenager who loves music.
Limited series
Some of the best television of recent years comes in limited series, complete stories told in a single season. Chernobyl is the most acclaimed of them, The Day of the Jackal is a sleek modern thriller, and many K-dramas follow the same model, telling one story from beginning to end. They are ideal when you want the depth of television in a single, satisfying run.
Worth watching again
Some titles reward a second viewing. Severance plants details in its offices and corridors that make more sense once you know what is happening, Everything Everywhere All at Once gains depth once you know where it is heading, and Knives Out plays fair with every clue. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hides new details in almost every frame, and Andor rewards close attention to its many characters and plots.
Cinema at home
A few touches make an evening at home feel like a trip to the cinema. Dim the lights, switch the television to its film or filmmaker picture mode, and turn off motion smoothing so films keep their natural look. Use a soundbar or good headphones for films with big soundtracks such as Dune: Part Two, F1 or Top Gun: Maverick, and choose the 4K version where your plan and connection allow.
Marvel on Vidjoy
Marvel fans can follow the saga across film and television. On film, Avengers: Endgame closed the first great arc in 2019, and the story continued through Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic 4: First Steps and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. On television, Loki and What If...? explore the multiverse, Daredevil: Born Again returns to the streets of Hell's Kitchen, and X-Men '97 continues the beloved animated series. Every film shows its release date, so watching in order is easy.
DC on Vidjoy
DC has its own strong shelf. The Batman reimagined the detective in a rain-soaked Gotham, The Suicide Squad sent a team of misfit villains on a wild mission, and Superman restarted the story of the Man of Steel with a hopeful tone in 2025. Black Adam brought an ancient champion into the modern world, and Joker told the origin of Batman's greatest enemy. On television, Superman & Lois balanced heroics with family life, Doom Patrol followed a band of unlikely heroes, and Lanterns brings the Green Lantern Corps to the screen in 2026.
The Apple TV shelf
Apple's streaming service has produced a remarkable run of series in these years, and many are on Vidjoy. Severance is its most celebrated, Ted Lasso its most beloved comedy, and Slow Horses its sharpest spy drama. Silo, Foundation and For All Mankind form a strong science-fiction line-up, See imagines a world where humanity has lost its sight, and Pluribus and Widow's Bay are among its newest. Dark Matter completes a shelf that rewards exploring from one series to the next.
The streaming era in brief
The years since 2019 changed how people watch. New services launched, big franchises moved to television, and series from Korea, Britain and beyond found audiences worldwide overnight. Vidjoy's catalogue reflects that: blockbuster films that arrived on streaming within weeks of their cinema release, prestige series built for bingeing, and K-dramas that became global hits through subtitles and word of mouth. Every title is one tap from the services that carry it in your country.
Star Wars in order
The Star Wars series on Vidjoy fit together neatly. Star Wars: The Bad Batch begins at the end of the Clone Wars and follows a squad of unusual clones into the early days of the Empire. Andor follows Cassian Andor over the years leading up to the rebellion, one of the most acclaimed stories in the saga. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and follows Din Djarin and Grogu across a galaxy rebuilding itself. Watched in that order, they trace the rise and fall of the Empire through the eyes of ordinary people caught up in it.
A K-drama weekend
K-dramas are perfect for a long weekend. Choose a romance such as King the Land or Love Next Door, and two or three evenings will carry you well into the story; choose a thriller such as Bloodhounds or A Shop for Killers, and the shorter seasons can be finished in a weekend. Each season page lists every episode with its air date and summary, and marking your place in My List means you can pick up exactly where you stopped.
Series for younger viewers
For younger viewers, Animaniacs, Amphibia and Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake are bright, funny and full of heart, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Avatar: The Last Airbender and ONE PIECE offer adventure for older children. Teenagers often discover Wednesday, Outer Banks and True Beauty with their friends. As always, check the certificate on each streaming service before pressing play.
Latest arrivals
The rows on the home page refresh as popularity shifts, and the featured backdrop changes to spotlight new favourites. The New releases page lists every title from 2025 onward with filters for type, genre and language, the quickest way to see what has arrived since your last visit.
Comedy on film
For lighter film nights, Barbie sends the famous doll into the real world with plenty of wit, Knives Out mixes comedy with a clever murder mystery, and Red One turns a Christmas rescue mission into a festive action comedy. A Minecraft Movie and The Super Mario Bros. Movie bring game worlds to life with a wink, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw pairs two rival heroes for a buddy adventure. On the series side, Ted Lasso, Abbott Elementary, Ghosts and Only Murders in the Building are the go-to comfort comedies.
Weekly releases
Some series arrive a whole season at once, perfect for a weekend binge, while others release one episode a week. The Pitt, Andor and Severance have used weekly releases, which turn each new episode into an event to discuss with friends, and many K-dramas air two episodes a week in Korea with international streaming shortly after. Each season page lists the air date of every episode, so it is easy to see when the next one arrives.
